The above specification is a minimum specification, and as a result it might not be very helpful to you.  Here are additional notes that may guide you in your PC purchase:

With regard to graphics cards, we design the graphical portion of FeatureCAM to use modern, but not bleeding edge graphics functionality.  As a result we can assure you that FeatureCAM will run on any modern, top quality, major brand graphics card.  We specifically *do not* recommend exotic or ultra-high end graphics cards.  These tend to be bleeding edge and require custom effort in order to make them work.

Practically speaking we purchase all of our own computers from one or two major PC vendors.  For our applications engineers, salespeople and software developers We buy medium to high end PCs.  So by checking the web sites of the major PC vendors you'll be able to see the kind of PC, CPU and graphics cards that we use (and test) every day.  We typically buy a notch or two down from "most expensive", as the "most expensive" is not a good price/performance ratio.  This thinking applies to the PC as a whole, and also to the CPU and the graphics card as well.  And by doing this, it makes it possible for us to upgrade our computers a little sooner than we would if we were tied to an expensive monster machine that we feel compelled to make last longer.

Lots of extra video memory isn't going to help FeatureCAM very much.  Instead, put your money into more RAM.
